Added little grass sprouts, a leaf and pebbles… now I’m truly done.

I’ve been MIA the pass month. I traveled down south to Argentina to be with family but now I’m back. I have a few projects I gotta get done before I can move on to some personal 3D stuff. I’ll post pictures of stuff I’m working on as soon and I get some approvals.
Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and wonderful New Year filled with lots of happiness and people that love you.
Cheers

Gotta try the new one out.
My turntable and my textures …

Yay, he’s finished. :D It took long enough. I think I might add a leaf in there just cause the base seems a bit bare and just a few minor tweeks here and there and I’ll be rendering out a turntable. :) Happy with the final result can’t wait to start the next thing.
It’s coming along. I’ve learned a lot with this last attempt and it’s great. Hope you guys like it. Cant wait to finish em up. :)
I finished two Gnomon workshop tutorials, one for my toads eye and one just to get some subsurface scattering going. The tutorials are free and available on their site. I really enjoyed them. They have a bunch of different free tutorials so you should check em out.
I also came across Suren Manvelyan crazy cool pictures of eyes. They are so beautiful. Human eyes remind me of the visual effects used in the movie the fountain, so pretty.

My feelings towards texturing at the moment….
I’ve been wanting to print on fabric for some time. So I made some decorative tea towels. I bought some Irish Linen, sewed and then letterpressed them. I first tried it on the little Adana but the impression wasn’t even. So I ended up using the Morgan. Only issue I had here was actually aligning my fabric.
The end result wasn’t what I wanted but still turned out k.
Slowly you become your project.. it consumes you…. Do I look like my toad yet?
